The secret of growing fruits & vegetables at home

The main secret of growing food at home is the medium you use in your pots. Never use garden soil for this. Start with a simple mixture of dry leaves and cow dung manure, and then keep layering it with more dry leaves and more manure over time. This keeps the medium soft and allows the roots to grow faster and pass on the required nutrition quickly to the plant to start fruiting. Hard soil doesn’t allow that and that’s why most home gardeners get disappointed with their efforts.
