44 years of professional career with employers, customers and as an entrepreneur has given me very wide exposure ranging from customer service, business development, operations, manufacturing, commercial to strategic advisor to be an entrepreneur. Initial 20 years of working with companies like DCM Data Products, Networks, Pertech Computers Ltd & Fujitsu ICIM helped me to develop my entrepreneurial skills by building new business opportunities centered on customer needs in the markets. Especially my stint with Fujitsu ICIM till 1995 gave me opportunities to work as an entrepreneur within the corporate and this lead to the launch of my own venture, SEACOM to build India’s leading suite of business solutions for the Retail industry.

Seacom emerged as one of the leading Point Of Sales solution provider to Indian and Global retailers with some very innovative solutions. The key to success was the solutions were designed to keep the customer experience in mind. Seacom gave me opportunities to work with almost every brand in modern retail in India. Following acquisition of Seacom business in early 2006 I spent few years as a domain & strategy adviser to leading IT enterprises like SAS, Zensar, Nimbus, Patni, L&T Infotech, Uniken, DG2L Technology.

Following this I co-founded India’s first e-commerce marketplace www.klisma.in in 2009. KLISMA was a multi channel enterprise commerce platform serving the needs of corporate employee’s personal needs as well as employer’s need of running various employee engagement and reward programs.

My approach of handling my work is very hands on and very unconventional and this enables me to be very goal oriented and focused on my objectives. I firmly believe that customer centric business solutions can earn long term benefits to every business. I owe success to all my ventures and turn around projects to this model and I am of the firm opinion that every business can be turned around profitably by aligning it’s practices & strategies to its customer needs.

Born and brought up in a middle class family in Delhi I value traditions. Pune is my home since 1989 and I enjoy spending time with my family. I believe in a disciplined and healthy living.

I am married with three grown up children. My wife is a well educated and widely travelled writer and painter. My children are also well travelled and now pursuing their own professional careers.

My passion for quality and processes in social and civic life has lead me to start a NGO, MARGDARSHAK wherein I worked with Pune Traffic Police, Pune City Connect (A CII Pune body), Schools and Collages on traffic awareness as well as other social issues.
